My goal in painting is to create a narrative painting where the viewer can make up their own story. Animals, landscape, humans, and inanimate objects are stand-ins for the foibles of human nature.

I’m inspired by the natural world, daily pleasures, funny moments, the news, Indian miniatures, early Italian painting, and Buddhist cave paintings.
